Great picnic area on the water. Had the chance to see a brown bear there tonight!

The hiking trails were so awesome. If you get a chance, get the salmon berries. Either fresh picked or the jelly. It's go good.

Great little park. Easy was from the ferry terminal. Ferry terminal can be reached by public bus. There is a nice dock that you can peak under the pilings and see some ocean critters.

Absolutely one of the most gorgeous places I have ever visited. So glad I got to share it with my grandpa. Truly special stuff

We were at the waterfront near the river and also were at Harbour Mountain where I was able to take some amazing pictures of the Sitka surrounding area. This was an amazing climb that is mostly done in your car and only the last 40 minutes was a climb on foot. It is a climb and I felt I was out of shape but made it to the top...

Beautiful area with plenty of trail-miles to be seen! Pop up to the Mosquito Cove trail for a traipse in the Temperate Tongass Rain Forest, hop over to the Muskeg trail for a glimpse at a unique bog, or sneak over to the estuary for some information on the local birds and have a sit in the building made from local woods. Lastly you can see this historic park where the Tlingit & Russians had a lil tussle.

Enjoyed hiking the trails. Not difficult at all. Trails are well maintained and marked. Has several distinct areas to visit. Scenic, beautiful, peaceful and very enjoyable.
